Mormonism, Mind Control and Joseph Smith

This program will discuss how Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, used “Mind Control” to convert his followers. Mormonism fits the “B.I.T.E.” model of Mind Control, as described by Steven Hassen. B.I.T.E.” stands for the control of an individual’s Behavior, Intellect, Thoughts, and Emotions. Destructive mind control can be determined when the overall effect of these four components promotes dependency and obedience to some leader or cause.

As a former Mormon Bishop and member of the Church for over 32 years, my wife Kathy and I have spent many years in various Leadership positions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, documenting, verifying and studying, specifically, the original teachings of the Church.
