The Mormon Embarrassment of the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible

This program will review the impact of the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible specific to Genesis 17:11.  The change that Smith made to the Old Testament claims that the Covenant of Circumcision should be done at 8 years old not 8 days old. Is it possible that God did not speak with Abraham or Moses and He let His only Son, Jesus Christ complete the Covenant of Circumcision WRONG? That is the position of the Mormon Church, which is a clue that Joseph Smith Jr. was a liar.  This possibility of the Jewish Nation doing this wrong was the subject of several interviews I had with Rabbis in Jerusalem this year.

Understanding and Teaching Mormons Mormonism

This live broadcast will feature the questions of local Christians who are seeking to witness to Mormon friends and neighbors in Utah. During this program will give you solid examples of how to understand the foundational doctrines of Mormonism within the context of the actual practice of Mormonism.  The vast difference between what a Mormon knows and what Mormonism teaches may provide the opportunity to separate the personal beliefs of an individual from the bizarre doctrine of the Mormon Faith.  Additionally, we will examine the fact that much of the Book of Mormon teaches against the actual practice of the Mormon Faith.

This broadcast will focus on the irrational veneration of Joseph Smith that occurs in the Mormon Church that is equal to, or over that of the Lord Jesus Christ, during the month of December.  As Smith was born on December 23, 1805, frequently the focus of the Mormon is redirected to this false prophet, rather than to our only Prophet Jesus Christ.

Biblical Grace vs Mormon Grace

Biblical Grace vs Mormon Grace

Check Out Christianity Podcasts at Blog Talk Radio with Mormon Chat with Bishop Lee Baker on BlogTalkRadio

This program will review the Mormon development, teaching and understanding of the Doctrine of Grace in contrast to the Biblical and Christian view of Grace.  The false teachings of the Mormon Church has established the unjustified need for Works.

Biblical Grace: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. – Eph 2:8-9

Mormon Grace:  …Grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient. Hence the explanation, “It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do” 2 N 25:23
