Translation Process of the Book of Mormon and Norm Godfrey Interview

Translation Process of the Book of Mormon

Check Out Christianity Podcasts at Blog Talk Radio with Mormon Chat with Bishop Lee Baker on BlogTalkRadio

This program reviews in detail the inconsistencies of the recording and reporting of the translation process of the Book of Mormon.  With the publishing of the Church Historical Essays, specifically on the subject of the Book of Mormon Translation, many questions have been brought to the membership of the Church.

In the 34 Wives of Joseph Smith demonstration at Manti, Utah Kathy Baker played Elvira Cowles Holmes, the 28th Wife of Joseph Smith, and Norman Godfrey, a former Mormon of four generations came up to her and introduced himself as the great, great grandson of Elvira on his mother’s side.

As a former Mormon Bishop and member of the Church for over 32 years, my wife Kathy and I have spent many years in various Leadership positions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, documenting, verifying and studying, specifically, the original teachings of the Church. I have found many of the most fundamental of these teachings to be completely out of harmony with the Lord’s teachings in the Bible.
