Growing up in Mormonism, we did not talk about the Cross. Instead, we were taught that Jesus atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. We did not talk about the cross and were told not to display it. The Mormon teaching says that the cross could not exceed the Garden, but the Bible shows that the Cross is what triumphed over our sin.
This program focuses on the fact that Joseph Smith Jr. could not remember, record or recite with any clarity or consistency the first and most important element of the supposed “Restoration” of the True Church of Jesus Christ. Continue reading “The First Vision – Confusion in the Woods”
In this program, we discuss the differences between the Christian Worship of Christ that occurs on Easter Sunday and the Mormon Adoration of Joseph Smith that overshadows this most important Christian Holiday of Easter or Resurrection Sunday. The importance of developing ones own personal relationship with Jesus Christ along with the Christian community of biblically oriented believers within a solid, Bible-based Christian Church is emphasized. May you find encouragement to step out of the legalism of Mormonism into the freedom found in the Grace of Christ. Continue reading “EASTER – 1 – The Mormon Gospel is not the Gospel of the Bible”
This broadcast reviews in detail the racism taught within the Mormon Church, which can still be found within its canonized set of “Scriptures” even after the 1978 acceptance of the Black race into their “Priesthood”. Continue reading “Racism Not of God”
This program has the potential to be offensive to the Leadership of the Mormon Faith, in that it plainly and Biblically places the many deceptive and sinful practices of Joseph Smith Jr., Brigham Young and John Taylor at their own feet; rather than at the feet of Jesus the Christ as Mormon Doctrine currently requires.
The “Warnick Watch” is a comparative study to highlight some of the younger and most successful intellectuals within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The focus of this review will be to compare and contrast the Church Historical Essays dealing with Becoming Like God, Polygamy – Polyandry, and The Translation of the Book of Mormon, with the thoughts of Brigham Young University Professor: Sean C. Warnick.
Professor Warnick, who supremely represents one of the finest examples of a very rational and exceptionally well-educated Priesthood holder, is the son of Charles P. Warnick who was ordained by the Prophet Thomas S. Monson, who then ordained me as a High Priest in the LDS Church. As demonstrated by the following example of Professor Warnick’s work, he is very much capable of an uncompromising rational and coherent statement on these issues of Doctrine and we eagerly await his response.
This program centers on the fact that God is Love and He loves us and wants a relationship with us rather than a reconstruction of the Law that failed to bring man to Him.
This program focuses on the importance of understanding God from His Word and thus a Biblical perspective to establish a right relationship with Him as His creations in His Love not as His competitors in eternity. Continue reading “The Foundation of All Things – Understanding God”
To the member of the Mormon faith, the Gospel of Jesus Christ encompasses every minute and complex aspect of the organization and authority of their unique “Priesthood”. As such, the powerful and simple message of Christ’s Gospel is lost within a bewildering and legalistic church of men. Continue reading “The Standard of Gospel Truth”
This program reviews the several distinctively non-Christian, but clearly official Mormon Doctrines that reduce the nature of God from the Biblical view of an infinitely holy, immaterial and immutable God into a previously corrupt and sinful man who earned his exaltation to become one of billions of “gods” in the universe. This incredibly insulting teaching also builds mankind as it reduces God to an equivalent being.
